Workshops & talks that do something. Story is the most powerful tool for connection, change, and culture-building - and we know how to use it. Our workshops and talks bring the rigour of documentary filmmaking into the room with you: emotionally intelligent, practically grounded, and designed for the people who need to feel seen most.

SIGNATURE WORKSHOPS

Signature workshops for organisations and teams

We design and deliver immersive workshops that help people find, own, and use their stories. Whether your team needs tools for creative confidence, communication, or navigating identity in the workplace, we build sessions that are honest, accessible, and led with care.

Our approach is rooted in over 18 years of broadcast storytelling and trauma-informed facilitation. We don't do off-the-shelf. Every session is shaped around who is in the room and what they actually need.

Ready to bring this into your organisation?

Whether you're planning an away day, a conference, or a longer creative programme, we'd love to talk about what's possible. Every engagement starts with a conversation.

Book Maleena as a speaker or panellist

Maleena brings almost two decades of experience as a filmmaker, broadcaster, and creative director into every room she enters - alongside the warmth, humour, and candour that makes people actually listen.

Her talks draw on a career spanning radio, television, branded content, and personal documentary — including her Channel 4 directorial debut, which aired in December 2025 and won an RTS award. She speaks about storytelling as a tool for self-authorship, the experience of being a British Indian woman in the creative industries, trauma-informed approaches to narrative, and what it really takes to build a career that belongs to you.

She has spoken at BAFTA, Penguin HQ, Soho Media Club and across the broadcast and creative sectors — adapting her sessions for keynotes, panels, fireside conversations, and intimate workshop formats.

"Maleena has a rare ability to make every person in the room feel that their story matters — and then give them the tools to tell it."
